Seeking candidates “Looking to Make a Difference in the Lives of People.”   The Arc New London County has part time positions available for all shifts.  This is an exciting opportunity to work in Community Living Arrangement supporting people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities.


Life Skills Instructor—Hebron CLA
34 Hours
Sunday  5p – 11p
Monday & Tuesday  1p – 9p
Wednesday & Thursday  3p – 9p

Position requirements: Prior experience working with people who have developmental and physical disabilities preferred.  Must have ability to mentor and assist people in all areas of life skills including recreation, independence, communication and health.  Bi-lingual and having experience supporting people who are autistic is a plus.

Required training: CPR/First Aid, PMT, Abuse & Neglect and Values training. Must be eligible for DDS Med Certification. Valid driver’s license required as well as own transportation. 

 

Life Skills Instructor—Cedar St. CLA
31.5 Hours
Sunday thru Tuesday
10:00pm – 8:30am
