Saun Murallo has worked primarily in the for-profit corporate sector most of her career. However, after working several years in human services, her real passion emerged. Prior to joining the Arc, Saun served as a Program Coordinator for a Summer Youth Program in New London County, providing life skills, job readiness and paid work experiences for at-risk teens 14 to16 years of age. She also served as Case Manager Coordinator for a three-agency offering case management services for a welfare-to-work program.
Saun began working for The Arc of New London County in 2004 as Program Coordinator for the School-to-Work program. The following year she was appointed to lead Human Resources for the rapidly growing agency.
Saun has attended Three Rivers Community College, University of Connecticut and Villanova University.
She lives in Waterford, with her sons and their German Shepherd.
