Culinary arts training focuses on safe food handling and kitchen equipment operation, including use of a six burner gas stove and convection ovens.


Our Culinary Program offers a variety of experiences from life skills basics and scratch cooking techniques to production work for the bake shop at The Arc General Store and Bakery.  All opportunities offer a window into the creative side of cooking while adapting to individual needs for day-to-day cooking realities such as preparing a meal or special dish.  The work day is fun and paced in real time to acclimate clients to requisite transition plans.
